Well, it looks like I’m on tumblr already. I’m currently sitting in a hostel in Naples.
Last night I ate the best pizza that exists with some delicious German beer. Today we took the train to Sorrento and then a bus to Positano, which is one of those coastal mediterranean, built-into-a-cliff-above-the-ocean towns that span more distance vertically than horizontally. Look it up! It was a beautiful day. Then on the train back to Naples, we got harassed by some local punks. They weren’t trying to rob us or anything- they just wanted to fuck with some tourists. One of them confronted us and pulled a knife. We didn’t give him the satisfaction of appearing frightened, so eventually they stopped bothering us. I’m just about to have dinner with my brother- he’s making pasta with a bunch of ingredients we just went out and bought. A great day all in all. Tomorrow I think we’re going to Pompeii.
Off to Italy for three weeks! I’m not bringing my laptop, so I won’t be on tumblr much (if at all). Try not to miss me too much. See y’all in late June.

I finally saw the Avengers!
This was my favorite part. I kept imagining that that one guy was still playing Galaga for the rest of the movie, no matter what was going on around him. It was very entertaining.
I also may or may not have laughed at Thor every time I saw him because I found him hilarious. I think it’s the hair.
Holy shit.
I just watched the last episode of House… I can’t believe it’s over. I’ve been watching that show for years. HOW DO I MOVE ON.
P.S. Anyone who’s into any form of Sherlock Holmes SHOULD WATCH THIS SHOW. House and Wilson are heavily based on Holmes and Watson (just look at their names!) and IT IS A GREAT SHOW and every actor on it is amazing and bah do I have to rewatch it now

It was indeed awesomely helpful for the pain. I was on a low enough dose that I didn’t get loopy at all, though. (But that also meant I still had a lot of pain left over, and of course nothing helped with the pain when I tried to walk or anything. Still, I’m glad I got it. I’m also glad I’m starting to not need it!)
I just watched this episode. I completely lost my shit at Barney’s one-man play. God damn, I love this show.
